 SHIPPING FEES 

We charge realistic costs for shipping and handling which depend on the weight and the destination country. There are several ways to determine the shipping costs:

• You can have them displayed as soon as you have placed the desired items in your shopping cart,
• you can have them displayed right before completing the order,
• and you can see all the information later in this page.

 SHIPPING TIME 

The goods will usually be sent out within one business day under normal circumstances, but not before the day of receipt of payment which depends on the chosen payment method. This can be within seconds or, in case of pre bank transfer, after days. To ensure getting your new gear as soon as possible (act of God excluded!) you should choose one of our offered payment methods which enables the soonest possible shipping, e.g. credit card or PayPal payment.

Please note that there are no deliveries on Sundays and public holidays, and additionally on Saturdays for deliveries sent with GLS.

If you have ordered articles with different delivery dates, we send the articles together in one delivery if no other agreement with you has been made. The delivery date for the complete order will be the same as that of the article you ordered with the longest delivery time.

In case of self-collection, we will inform you by email once the product is ready, along with the collection options. In this case, dispatch costs will not be charged.

The exact time of arrival depends on the time the carrier needs for delivery which we have no bearing on. Please note that additional delays may occur due to international disruptions (see also "Current shipping times" down below):

• Within Germany, DHL's standard delivery time is two to three business days, and sometimes the goods arrive the next day. GLS's standard delivery time is 24 hours.
• Outside Germany the delivery time will be accordingly longer. You can choose between DHL Standard and DHL Premium (faster delivery) on the one hand, and GLS for selected countries on the other. DHL Standard is gradually being replaced by Closest Droppoint (see below) for more and more countries in the EU.

You can get a rough idea of the delivery time in the order overview, i.e. before you complete the order. Please also note the information and links displayed for the shipping method (see also "Current shipping times" below).

 DOORSTEP DELIVERY OR CLOSEST DROPPOINT WHEN SHIPPING WITH DHL 

When selecting DHL Standard, delivery to a “nearby drop-off point” applies to the following destination countries:

• Austria
• Belgium
• Bulgaria
• Cyprus
• Denmark
• Estonia
• Finland
• France
• Latvia
• Lithuania
• Netherlands
• Poland
• Sweden

For door-to-door delivery to the countries listed above, please select DHL Premium.

 GOGREEN 

All of our DHL parcel shipments will be added with the GoGreen service of DHL. So the transport will be carbon-neutral. The best is: This service comes for free to you. We take all the costs.

 CALCULATING OF SHIIPING AND HANDLING FEES 

You can use the shipping cost calculator after you have put an article (resp. all articles you want to order) to your shopping basket to estimate the real shipping cost. But you can also have a look on our shipping fees prior shopping. Please look after the applicable customer group and shipping zone (= your delivery address) in the following two sections first before you open the appropirate PDF at the bottom of this page.

Please note that the total shipping weight is necessary to determine the actual shipping costs. The total shipping wieght is determined by the sum of the following two factors:

1. Sum of the shipping weights of all items
2. Weight surcharge of 12% to the weight determined under 1. (e.g. for packaging material)

Example: The sum of all items in the shopping cart is 0.9 kg. The weight surcharge is 12% of 0.9 kg = 0.108 kg. This results in a total shipping weight of 0.9 kg + 0.108 kg = 1.008 kg. Therefore, the amounts in the "up to 2 kg" lines in the PDF files are significant, which is because the limit for the "up to 1 kg" lines is exactly 1.000 kg. DHL works with an accuracy of 1 gram.

The weight surcharge is already taken into account in the shipping cost calculator of the shop. If you use it, you do not have to calculate manually anything.

 CURRENT SHIPPING TIMES 

Unfortunately, there are always delays in the international shipping of goods over which we have no control. The delivery times stated in the order process cannot reflect this and therefore only represent the standard delivery times. Please inform yourself about the current situation via the following Deutsche Post and DHL pages before ordering, so that you can better estimate how long your delivery will take:

Exceptions to zone rates: For some countries different shipping costs apply (compared to their shipping zone). This is based entirely on the prices charged by DHL. So we pass on benefits directly to our customers.

 TRANSPORT INSURANCES 

B2C

All your goods are fully insured as required by law.

B2B

You can have your consignments assured. The standard transport insurance by GLS covers the purchase price (max. €750). The insurance by DHL covers damage up to €500 but we offer DHL insurances for damages up to €2,500 and up to €25,000, with the following additional fees:

• Up to €2,500: €10.00 net (to Germany: €6.00 net)
• Up to €25,000: €50.00 net (to Germany: €18.00 net)

The higher insurance must be placed in the shopping cart. You can find it under "Miscellaneous and services - Transport insurance".
